what is this website?
hypnum, the genus, is one type genus of mosses, sometimes also called by its common name "carpet moss".
hypnum, the website, was created to serve as a personal space, creative project, digital scrapbook and a place to showcase and talk about my hobbies. ever since having a blogspot as a kid, i have loved creating my very own cyber spaces. recently, i found myself craving to be as far away from social media as possible, which led me to get really into the web revival.
i'm do my best to keep the site wcag-aa compliant. i'm also interested in brutalist web design, although this website won't strictly follow brutalist principles because, well, i do like pretty images.
hypnum will never feature images/text/code manufactured by generative AI. everything was coded by hand using vscodium, and all credits to assets used on this website can be found here.
